Health & Safety Manager
Suffolk - Up to £48,500
Main Scope of Role: Assist the site senior management team in leading the delivery of a constantly improving H&S culture at the factory to bring about further risk reduction.
Permanent
£40000 to £48500 per annum
Responsible for key H&S mechanisms including application of the company health and safety management system, management reporting (statistics, incident reporting).
Key member of the Site Senior Management Team and the company Health & Safety Team.
Key Result Areas:
Jointly leads, supports & sells the behavioural safety message principally through the delivery of the company Behavioural Based Safety Programme.
Manages the local Safety Improvement Engineers and Safety Representatives groups.
Application of the corporate Health & Safety Management System (HSMS) on site, including auditing of this system.
Production of accurate Period Statistics, KPIs, reporting to centre. Analysing these to assist in determining site priorities.
Manages and co-ordinates the site safety improvement programme/objectives.
Provides support to Commercial and Agricultural operations on site.
Corporate incident reporting system (RIVO) use and application on site.
Makes positive contribution to the wider corporate health & safety team.
A role model for promotion of the highest health and standards across the site and wider business.
Delivery of the Behavioural Based Safety program on site.
Effective management of risk via application of the HSMS.
Management of the site safety investment program.
Close and positive working relationships with all on site.
Delivery of effective & valued support across the site.
Proactive analysis to identify potential issues & trends to formulate appropriate responses to minimise injury incidents and other associated risks to the business.
Accuracy & integrity of key data.
